Ken Foundation Society is registered under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, and anyone who donates to the Ken Foundation Society is eligible for a 50% Tax deduction if the amount donated does not exceed 10% of their adjusted gross total income. The 80G exemption is another step to inspire our donors to continue helping the most vulnerable and marginalised communities.
For any NGO to be fully operational and functional, financial contributions are essential. Donations help us provide many more opportunities in less time, be it regarding education, essential utilities, clothing, etc.; financial support helps run varied short-term and long-term programmes dedicated to uplift and empower the underprivileged. To encourage donating to good causes, the Income Tax department allows people to claim an exemption under Section 80G on the amount that is donated to NGOs and charities.
